Mark your calendars for Friday, December 6th, when the action kicks off from 6 PM to 8 PM CET, or 5 PM to 7 PM for those in the UK. Gamers from Austria to the UK, including many European nations like Finland, France, and Sweden, are welcome to join in. However, players situated in distant regions like the Azores might face participation difficulties due to geographical constraints.
### Participation
To jump into the fray, make sure you have your Nintendo Account set to one of the participating countries. A Nintendo Switch Online membership, whether a full subscription or a free trial, is also required. Once set, players can access the competition through the game’s main menu by navigating to “Online” and selecting “Official Tourney Qualifiers.”
### Tourney Score
The goal here is straightforward: rack up the highest Tourney score possible. This special rating reflects your skills and how well you fare against opponents. Players can keep tabs on their score throughout the event and have unlimited chances to boost it while matches that start within the event timeframe count towards it, even if they wrap up post-event.
### Winners and Prizes
The top 10 players with standout Tourney scores will each walk away with a cool 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Points. Those who make it into the top 100 also receive a prize: 1,000 Gold Points each. Just a heads-up, any attempts to mess with the system, like changing your country setting or exploiting game flaws, could lead to disqualification and potentially more severe consequences.
### Prize Delivery
Expect your rewards to arrive within two weeks post-event, safely delivered to your Nintendo Account. You can double-check your My Nintendo Point Log to ensure the Gold Points have landed.
