After the intense escapades of Garten of Banban 6, which saw you narrowly escape danger by hopping into an elevator at just the right moment, the adventure plunges you further into the mysterious depths of the facility. Previously, you had allies to help you navigate these perils — but with no Garten of Banban 5 to team up in, this entry finds you solo, fending for yourself. Can you finally uncover the truth behind the facility’s secrets and the whereabouts of your missing child?
The gameplay remains familiar, sticking with the first-person perspective that series veterans will recognize. You’ll navigate your character using the left analog stick, while the right stick lets you survey your surroundings. Need to make a quick getaway? Just press down on the left stick to sprint away from impending doom. Interactions are handled with the X button, enabling you to engage with objects and NPCs alike. Your trusty drone is still by your side, maneuvering it with the R2 button or calling it to heel with L2 should it wander off.
When it comes to trophy hunting, PS5 owners won’t find a Platinum prize here—something that aligns with the series’ tradition. Instead, Garten of Banban 7 challenges players with its 11 Bronze, 3 Silver, and 1 Gold trophy list, mirroring its predecessor.
