Resolution Games, the seasoned XR studio known for popular titles like Demeo and Racket Club, has recently unveiled an exciting new venture: Home Sports. This casual virtual reality sports game is set to be exclusively available on the Quest 3 and Quest 3S.
Anticipated to hit the Horizon Store next month, Home Sports features an engaging lineup of five interactive sports: pickleball, mini golf, hockey, bowling, and badminton. The game promises a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of the beloved Wii Sports from 2006.
Players can enjoy these games either locally—if they both possess the Quest devices—or take on competitors online in thrilling multiplayer matches. Moreover, Resolution Games highlights that each sport is designed to adjust according to your available play area, making it versatile for any room size, whether you’re using virtual or mixed reality.
Tommy Palm, CEO of Resolution Games, shed some light on the innovative approach: “Mixed reality is truly revolutionizing the way we play games, blending the physical and digital worlds to create unforgettable, shared experiences,” he said. “The launch of Home Sports comes at the perfect time, just as family and friends gather for the holidays. It’s not only an exciting way to get everyone involved—regardless of their level of play—but also a welcoming introduction to VR for those who have never tried it before.”
Scheduled for release on December 11th, Home Sports will be available for $19.99, and interested gamers can already add it to their wishlist on the Horizon Store.
