Neal has finally gotten his wish, and if you’re ready to jump into it, go ahead—just maybe not right this instant.
Good news for Nintendo fans: Tony Hawk, the legendary Birdman himself, is making a comeback to Nintendo consoles this summer. After months of anticipation and hints dropped here and there, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 has officially been announced. Mark your calendars for July 11, the day you’ll be able to get your hands on this exciting release.
With the original developer, Vicarious Visions, no longer in the picture, Iron Galaxy has taken up the reins for this port. Gamers will have a choice between three different editions. The standard edition is priced at $49.99 US. For those looking to expand their gameplay experience, the “Digital Deluxe” edition is available for $69.99. This version includes fan-favorite characters from DOOM, the DOOM Slayer and The Revenant, as playable skaters, along with additional tracks for the game’s iconic soundtrack. For collectors and die-hard fans, there’s a physical edition at $129.99, complete with a cool skate deck.
Switch users should take note, however. The box art indicates that a download will be necessary, although the exact size of this download hasn’t been specified yet.
