Watch out for the blizzards that sweep through this chilling locale.

In the midst of these icy wonders, don’t forget to warm up with a steamy drink to keep your mind sharp and your reflexes ready. This place is as unpredictable as it is beautiful.

Meet Rove, the Wandering Wudwud

Not every creature you’ll encounter is terrifying. Say hello to Rove, the quirky Wudwud who has strayed far from its home. Who knows what adventures await as you cross paths with this unusual fellow?

Monsters Roaming the Iceshard Cliffs

The Iceshard Cliffs is teeming with formidable creatures. Let’s meet a few:

• Hirabami – Leviathan: This majestic leviathan floats using its wind-catching neck membrane and brandishes sharp tail claws.

In the latest trailer, a mysterious colossus attacks a Hirabami gathering, leaving us breathless and curious about its intent.

• Nerscylla – Temnoceran: Returning with its fierce precision, Nerscylla uses its iconic horn to swiftly subdue its prey.

There’s an intense moment when Nerscylla appears to capture Gypceros, leaving us on the edge of our seats.

Arkveld Takes Center Stage in the OBT2

The second round of open testing is coming soon. It’s divided into two timeframes:

• February 6th to February 9th
• February 13th to February 16th

You’ll be able to start pre-loading on February 5th, ensuring you’re ready to dive into the action. Both periods offer the same content, so hop in whenever you can. You’ll again encounter Character Creation, the Story Trial, and a gripping Doshagma Hunt.

Hunters who emerge victorious against Doshagma can look forward to other thrilling hunts in the Windward Plains. The return of the Gypceros, with its notorious poisonous flair, is bound to test your skills. And for those up for a real challenge, face Arkveld in a newly adjusted, hard-hitting advanced quest.

Sharpen Your Skills and Dive Into New Features

New to OBT2 is the Training Area where you can finesse your weapon mastery. Create a Private Lobby for selective gameplay or experience Online Single Player mode with an option to summon aid via an SOS Flare.

Even if you missed the first round of testing, this second beta offers fresh encounters and experiences just for you. OBT2 is open to all PS5 owners with a PlayStation Network account. PlayStation Plus isn’t a requirement, so everyone gets a slice of the pie.

All participants of OBT2 will receive a Felyne pendant and a bonus item pack in the full release, with previous testers already set for these rewards.

A Note for PS5 Pro Players

While you can play OBT2 on a PS5 Pro, just know that enhanced features aren’t yet supported; however, a day-one patch will rectify this for the full game release.
