As February approaches, Xbox players are gearing up for a slew of server shutdowns. If you’re on a mission to snag some achievements, we’ve compiled a list of games that will lose online support in February 2025, so you can plan your gaming sessions accordingly.
Xbox Server Shutdowns in February 2025
Here’s the lineup of games facing server closures:
- Divine Knockout — February 17, 2025
- Realm Royale Reforged — February 17, 2025
- EA Sports UFC 3 — February 17, 2025
- Hood: Outlaws and Legends — February 18, 2025
- Dark Alliance — February 24, 2025
- The Golf Club — February 28, 2025
- The Golf Club 2 — February 28, 2025
- KartRider: Drift — February 28, 2025
- Disco Dodgeball Remix — February 28, 2025
Let’s take a closer look at what these closures mean for each game.
Divine Knockout
Last October, Hi-Rez Studios shared its plan to restructure and shift its focus to Smite 2, which unfortunately means goodbye to Divine Knockout servers on February 17, 2025. This fighting game boasts 19 achievements that will no longer be accessible post-closure. If you’re aiming for that coveted 1,000G, you’d better set aside approximately eight hours to complete it before the deadline.
Realm Royale Reforged
Also falling under Hi-Rez Studios’ restructuring initiative is Realm Royale Reforged. The online battle royale will lose its servers on February 17, 2025, rendering its 20 achievements unattainable. Those interested in completing the game should budget around 15 hours and take full advantage of our Realm Royale Reforged walkthrough to help speed things along.
EA Sports UFC 3
After five years, EA Sports UFC 3 is stepping out of the ring on February 17, 2025. This closure means that 15 achievements will become unobtainable. While you can no longer buy it from the Microsoft Store, it’s still playable via Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play, so hurry while you can.
Hood: Outlaws and Legends
Set to close on February 18, 2025, Hood: Outlaws and Legends requires a bit of haste if you’re looking to snag all 50 achievements. This online-only title needs around 80 hours for completion, but unfortunately, it has already been delisted from the store. Without a copy in your library, you’re out of luck.
Dark Alliance
Come February 24, 2025, Dark Alliance’s servers are shutting down, resulting in the loss of four online-only achievements. Additionally, Tuque Games and Wizards of the Coast announced its delisting from the Xbox store, adding urgency to your quest to play it while you can.
The Golf Club
Back in December, HB Studios and 2K Sports declared that The Golf Club servers would close on February 28, 2025, ending access to six online-only achievements. Already delisted from the Xbox store, you’ll need to find a physical copy if you’re hoping to finish this one.
The Golf Club 2
Similarly, The Golf Club 2 will lose its servers on February 28, 2025, taking four online achievements with it. Like its predecessor, it’s delisted from the digital store, prompting you to dig into physical copies if it’s not in your digital collection.
KartRider: Drift
Announced by Nexon in August, KartRider: Drift will drive off into the sunset on February 28, 2025. Of its 28 achievements, 22 will be gone forever post-shutdown. Already removed from the Xbox store, your chances to experience this free-to-play racing game are dwindling.
Disco Dodgeball Remix
Finally, Disco Dodgeball Remix is set to lose its online multiplayer features on February 28, 2025. The silver lining here is that there are no online-exclusive achievements to worry about, so there’s no need to rush. However, with its impending delisting and lack of a physical edition, it will soon be lost to time once it leaves the Microsoft Store.
These upcoming closures highlight the ever-evolving nature of online gaming, making it crucial for achievement hunters to act swiftly. Happy gaming!
