Nintendo Releases – April 10, 2025 – Updates

After a whirlwind of a week, we’re settling back into what you might call a routine over on the Switch OG.

There was a little something we missed out on last week, namely Namco’s Assault Plus featured in the Archives. Now, if you thought last week’s chaos was something else, summarizing it as “OK, so THAT happened” doesn’t quite do it justice. Between the reveal of the Switch 2 Direct and the subsequent chaos, primarily spurred by 20500, this week’s list of eShop offerings almost feels nostalgic. Yet, a few gems could make this week worthwhile, starting with Star Overdrive, the hovercraft-centric game that got a brief mention in the Direct—though, can you believe that was only a week and a half ago? Sure feels longer. Also on the docket is Battlefield Waltz from Idea Factory/Otomate, with localization by IFI—though I’d hold off for news on any day-one patches.

Other releases worth the attention include the “Promise Mascot Agency” and another installment in the Snow Bros. series. Plus, for those outside Japan, the EggConsole game of the week is a basic maze title from 1983, so Pyramid Warp seems like a good grab.
