DodgeCraft pushes the boundaries of your reflexes in a fresh VR sports training experience, available now on Quest and PlayStation VR2. Coming from the creative minds at INCISIV Ltd, a Belfast-based team that previously brought us CleanSheet Soccer, this new title brings a unique blend of rapid action and strategic evasion, challenging players to enhance their agility. Take a look at its dynamic gameplay in action below.
Currently, DodgeCraft offers two distinct modes for players to dive into. In ‘Dodge’Em,’ you’ll engage in full-body workouts by navigating through an asteroid belt, dodging incoming meteorites with quick sidesteps and crouches. Meanwhile, ‘Run the Gauntlet’ pits you against waves of bots and humanoids using crafty maneuvers designed to outwit you. Plus, with integrated mixed reality support, the experience becomes even more immersive.
INCISIV’s CEO, Professor Cathy Craig, shared in a prepared statement that the inspiration for DodgeCraft stemmed from her own sporting challenges. A former out-half for Ulster Rugby, she often struggled with committing to tackles on the field.
“As an athlete, I used to hesitate, avoiding critical tackles,” Professor Craig explained. “DodgeCraft is a brilliant way to train players to anticipate and make decisive moves without the risk of physical injury. It truly allows you to ‘train without the pain!'”
Now available on Meta Quest and PlayStation VR2, DodgeCraft offers a novel and safe way to hone your defensive skills.
