Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 Open Today in the US

It’s official! Starting at the stroke of midnight Eastern Standard Time on April 24, or 9 PM Pacific on April 23, the mad scramble for digital deals will kick off in the US. Retailers like Walmart are already gearing up, listing products in anticipation of testing their servers to the limit. And of course, where the consoles go, games and accessories are sure to follow. At $450, the Switch 2 marks Nintendo’s priciest console to date, and it’s arguably their most daring venture. With units flying off shelves worldwide, America is poised to join the frenzied ranks, reminiscent of a Taylor Swift ticket rush.

Retail heavyweights like Walmart, GameStop, and Target are all participating in today’s festivities. Unfortunately, Amazon US is sitting this one out due to unresolved issues with Nintendo. Fear not, though, as there are still plenty of other retailers ready to meet your needs. Do keep in mind that stock will fluctuate as wildly as your Wi-Fi connection on launch day.
