This week, we dive right in with a quick chat about the Pokémon Presents event that took place earlier in the day. While much of the content didn’t quite grab our crew’s attention, Pokémon Legends: Z-A certainly sparked a lively discussion. The concept of a city for Pokémon, in particular, raised a lot of intriguing questions.
Next on the agenda is a look at your submissions for our upcoming RetroActive segment (00:28:27). Most of you got the idea just right, but, as expected, there were a few submissions that missed the mark entirely. We didn’t settle on a game this time, but we thoroughly examined your entries. Stay tuned for the big reveal next week.
In other news, James snagged an amiibo. Don’t ask us why—it’s a mystery to us as well, but hey, he seems pretty pleased with himself.
After a short break, we planned to tackle THREE emails!
Yes, that’s right, THREE emails were on our list.
However, we only managed to cover one email this episode (00:59:04). The topic? Speculating on the next big Mario Kart installment and how it might revolutionize the beloved series. Don’t forget, you can send in your emails too, though chances are high they might remain unanswered!
This episode was skillfully edited by Guillaume Veillette. A shoutout to Perry Burkum for creating our exclusive “Men of Leisure” theme song – more of his work can be found on SoundCloud. The Radio Free Nintendo logo is credited to Connor Strickland, who’s got some exciting projects you can explore on his website.
As we wrap up, enjoy our episode’s ending music, “Main Theme” from Shovel Knight, arranged by Jake Kaufman and requested by Ravio. All rights on this masterpiece are held by Yacht Club Games, LLC.
