Exciting developments are on the horizon for Apple users as Apple Intelligence—a toolkit of AI functionalities—prepares to land on Vision Pro this coming April with the public rollout of visionOS 2.4. If you’re a tech enthusiast with developer access, you can already start tinkering with these features.
When Apple Intelligence becomes available for Vision Pro, users can expect an upgrade packed with the latest AI innovations. This includes advanced writing assistants, AI-generated imagery, quick-response messaging, and natural language photo searches. You’ll also get AI-driven summaries and customizable emojis. All these capabilities are set to elevate the user experience, especially given Vision Pro’s emphasis on voice and hand input.
The upcoming Vision Pro enhancements don’t stop there. The new update promises improvements to the Guest User mode, which means you’ll be able to share your Vision Pro experience with others using a nearby iPhone or iPad. Gone are the days of awkwardly guiding guests with a barrage of directions—this update aims to make showcasing your device smoother.
Another intriguing addition is the Spatial Gallery, which will feature a curated selection of immersive spatial photos, videos, and panoramas from renowned artists, filmmakers, and photographers. This gallery will debut in several regions, including Australia, Canada, and the U.S., along with numerous other countries.
The collaboration between Vision Pro and iOS is also set to deepen. As visionOS 2.4 rolls out, Vision Pro users will be able to manage app and game downloads, explore spatial content, and access device information through the new Apple Vision Pro iOS app. This app will be launched alongside iOS 18.4, making it easier than ever to integrate your devices.
Initially, these new features will be available exclusively in U.S. English, but Apple plans to expand the language options and functionalities over time. While we don’t have an exact date beyond the April target for these updates, eager developers can download the beta version of visionOS 2.4 right now. All it takes is a quick trip to Settings > Privacy & Security, where you can enable the “Developer Mode” and restart Vision Pro to dive in.
