The top positions on this week’s Xbox gameplay chart remained steady, but there’s noticeable buzz around Far Cry New Dawn. Now that it’s part of Game Pass, more players seem eager to earn those achievements. Considering the wave of exciting Game Pass titles on the horizon, we might see some significant shake-ups in the top 40 soon.
Sniper Elite: Resistance is riding high following its Game Pass debut, climbing to seventh place. If you’re debating whether to dive in, Sean’s review showered the game with glowing praise. Interesting to note, Halo Infinite has been gaining traction too, surging forward from 23rd to 17th thanks to its latest update.
Far Cry New Dawn made a comeback in the ranks, slotting in at 19th after joining Game Pass last week. Unfortunately, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle slid down from 18th to 22nd. It’s a fantastic game, but with so many upcoming Game Pass releases, juggling multiple top-tier games can be a challenge.
Ninja Gaiden 2 Black was riding high a few weeks back after its surprise appearance on Xbox, but now it’s slipped from 11th to 24th. Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap, another recent Game Pass entry, has also dipped, settling at 31st.
We’ve also seen Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II and No Man’s Sky make reappearances, landing in 33rd and 36th respectively. Both titles had significant updates that likely drew players back. On the flip side, Eternal Strands has taken a tumble from 19th down to 38th, while Hell Let Loose closes out the chart at 40th.
Interestingly, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, despite being a much-awaited RPG, hasn’t cracked the top 40 yet. It might be because it’s not on Game Pass, and players could be waiting for some uninterrupted time to dive into its rich medieval world.
